If you're looking for some scrumptious Korean-Chinese food, go to Da Rae Won! It's delicious! The entrees are definitely shareable, good for 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. I tried the fried chicken with garlic sauce, fried beef with garlic sauce, and shrimp fried rice. The chicken and beef were just an amazing mix of sweet and savory. I enjoyed the crunch from the batter. The shrimp fried rice was super tasty and came in a big serving. The service is also superb. Our waitress was friendly, made sure to check on us and filled our waters often. It was a great dining experience overall. I will try their noodles when I come back.

Legit! Authentic! I went for Cuban but ended up driving to eat Korean. I pulled up and all I see is Korean people going in and out of the door...great sign. I walk in and all I see is Korean people...great sign. The hostess greeted me and then another person greets me, we're seated within minutes...and they are busy. Waitress comes, water on the table BAM!! Followed by a lil pallet pleasing dish. 23 order...noodles, chicken, rice, soju and we're ready. Food comes and yes we got some recommendations...yes Lord. It's good. My recommendation go try it, ask for recommendations and enjoy!! And be ready to use chopsticks, they will give you a spoon if you need one...but go with the flow and enjoy every bite. A lot here is served family style so keep that in mind when you order. As for the feel of the place it's loud but not too loud, and it's comfortable mostly, nothing fancy but it just right. You're welcome!!

Wonderful restaurant with delicious food and great service. Walked in on a Wednesday night for dinner, so it wasn't too busy with a lot of seating. Everyone was very kind and smiling as we walked in, which already made the experience great. The restaurant was very clean with minimal decorations. It got a little loud when they started to stretch the noodles, but it was a fun show. Servers were always attentive and not overbearing, filling out water at the right time and checking in. We ordered the fried rice with shrimp & vegetable, fried chicken with garlic sauce, and fried beef with garlic. Every dish came out with large portions, but each bite was amazing. Definitely want to try the noodles next time coming in.

I've been coming to this restaurant since I was a little girl and I'm now in my 30's and the food is still so yummy here! I know they did change owners, but I think they did a good job of making the place a bit more modernized without compromising the quality of their menu. I came with my family (aunts, uncles, and cousins too) on an early Saturday afternoon. We luckily found a spot to sit at, but the restaurant started to fill up quickly soon after. If it's your first time, you must try their signature regular jjajangmyun and tangsooyook (black bean noodles and sweet and sour chicken). We mostly ordered the jjajangmyun of course, jjampong, the lollipop chicken aka kkanpoongi, and tangsooyook. We ate all the appetizers up so quick and my family is usually pretty critical about food. I would say that one bowl of the black bean noodles can be too much for the average person to finish and no, this is NOT something that will taste good the next day so you should finish it in one sitting. You can also see the person making the dough for the noodles from scratch through a window too which is pretty neat, but I hope they don't feel awkward being watched haha. The wait for the food was not too long at all and service was great too!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Da Rae Won, and overall, it was a delightful experience that left me wanting more. First and foremost, I have to highlight the lollipop chicken--it was hands down the best thing we had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, these little bites of heaven were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. If you visit, this dish is an absolute must-try. The japchae was another standout. The flavors were rich and authentic, with just the right balance of sweetness and savoriness. My only critique is that it could use a bit more meat to complement the noodles and vegetables. Nonetheless, it was a satisfying dish that I would order again. We also tried the seafood noodle soup. While the freshly made hand-pulled noodles were a real treat--chewy and delicious--the broth itself was a bit bland for my taste. It lacked the depth and intensity of flavor that I was hoping for. However, the quality of the noodles made up for it to some extent, and I still enjoyed the dish. One thing to note about Da Rae Won is that it is a very busy restaurant. Expect wait times, especially during peak hours. The bustling atmosphere is a testament to the popularity and quality of the food, but it's something to keep in mind if you're in a hurry. Despite the minor hiccups, the overall experience was very positive. The lollipop chicken alone is worth a return trip, and I'm eager to try more dishes from their extensive menu. If you're in the Beltsville area and looking for a place that offers delicious Korean cuisine, Da Rae Won is definitely worth a visit. I will certainly be back for more of that amazing lollipop chicken!

You can't go wrong at this spot. Walking in, you're met with newly renovated walls and the place looks good! The staff are friendly and say hi and let you sit where you want. I always enjoy a corner table. After you order the food, you get a plate of radishes and sauce which is always a good way to start! Use the vinegar and dry sauce on top of the onions and it's SOOOO good. Lollipop Chicken, HUGE plate of food. Crispy, not too much sauce. Comes out piping hot so be careful. Fried rice, I ate the whole plate...it was a huge portion so don't judge me. Crispy pork was good because I got the sauce on the side so you can dip it. It was heavy on the breading but I still enjoyed it!

GET THE FRIED SHRIMP Yes the lollipop chicken got the OG drip but that fried shrimp.. she leaves NO crumbs. Highly recommend if you want to shake things up. And ofc you must order the jajangmyung to go with your fried dish. Our service was slow that day, not sure the hold up but also didn't care because it's all worth the wait. The vibe is family friendly so bring all your friends and kids and dive into the most savory delicious Korean meal!

One of my favorite spots to grab a meal....when in the Laurel, MD area. The service here is awesome, they are really attentive. The food is great with my favorite being the Garlic Soy Fried Chicken! The lollipop style fried chicken wings are tender, juicy and the garlic sauce is very flavorful. I tend to order mine spicy to get more a savory taste over the sweet profile these wings have, but nonetheless.....they are soooo good!! Another favorite, is the fried pork dumplings which are huge and taste great (I forgot to take a picture). Also, try the Jjampong Noodle soup. They make the noodles fresh and this dish does not disappoint. The noodles are also super fresh and chewy....like I like it. And, the broth especially for the seafood soups are delicious!! Highly recommend! Recommended dishes The jJamppong soup is delicious & has a unique flavor. The Fried Dumpling & Fried Chicken Wings in Garlic Sauce is a winner too.
